A startup of scientists, doctors, and health technologists asked me to bring a proven weight loss methodology to a mobile app, during a pandemic.

SOLUTION

Our co-creation process led to a successful re-launch in the App Store, achieving a 4.7 rating from 2,500+ users. Fresh Tri expanded its relationship with Walmart, secured multiple B2B2C vendors, and attracted a new marquee client in Sam’s Club.

Translating science

We were brought into a tense dynamic between the Founder/CEO and product team and an existing app with very poor feedback.

The power of a distributed team: an overnight adaptation to remote digital tools, utilizing tried and true collaboration design techniques was hugely successful—and satisfying amidst global uncertainty.

Goal setting, tracking and extrinsic rewards don’t change most people’s long-term behavior and yet they’re dominating everything in healthcare and wellness.
